Lo mejor sin duda alguna el personal, no he conocido personas más serviciales, divertidas y amables. Sonrisa personificada. Y hacer mención a los trabajadores de la piscina, dive school y concretamente a aymath el animador. Además de todo, el hotel es inmejorable

Food was rather ordinary

The hotel is situated in a perfect spot, right between two lagoons. This provides a perfect opportunity to enjoy your stay and alternate between two different beaches. Another great advantage related to hotel location and set up is a secured perimeter. They have fence all around their territory (no barbed wire but just more like a visual separation of territory), as well as security personnel who makes sure no beach boys or annoying beach entrepreneurs will bother guests during their stay.

The restaurant. The biggest disappointment is the restoration. Staff is not really qualified for the job, many times I have asked for glasses for water to be served during linch/dinner time. The variety and quality of food offered is also far behind the rest of the hotel. I would recommend to the management to hire a good chef to organize and take over control over the restaurant. We ended up going out for lunch (lunch was not included in our booking). Luckily there is a good competition around the hotel with much better chefs.

We really enjoyed the pool, table tennis, and location (close to beach). All the staff we encountered were brilliant - special mention to the lovely diving instructor, Dadisan and his friendly team in the restaurant, and the brilliant animator (Ajanti, apologies if spelling is incorrect) who led Aqua-fitness sessions, and the lovely pool attendant / sports facilitator (he is 21yrs old, didn't get his name) - both of these sports/animation staff were enthusiastic, kind, fun and encouraging, and an asset to the venue.

Some of the food wasn't up to the standard of other dishes - the freshly cooked food was lovely, and the main dishes too. The pre-prepared salads / desserts didn't reach the same standard. The setting of the restaurant is lovely, and I'm sure they could elevate the food to match.

Fantastic location, friendly and helpful staff. Everyone happy to full fill all the guest inquires from their end. The food is Delicious and varied buffet. we received well cleaned bigger room directly facing to beach. We enjoyed well in the swimming pool and evening entertainment was fantastic. The location and hotel facilities are amazing. We stayed at the suite and it was the best room we have ever been to, with incredible seaview. Fully recommend this hotel if you are planning to go to Sri Lanka south beaches, it has a turtle view point just in the beach of the hotel and it is really close to Hiriketiya beach where you can surf and enjoy the cool vibes of that beach.

alles hat uns gefallen

Wir sind am ende unserer Rundreise in Dickwella angekommen und konnten nicht einchecken weil die Zimmer überbucht waren. Der Geschäftführer hat nur die Schultern gezuckt und auf Fehler seitens Booking.com verwiesen.

Man sollte doch wenigstens Alternativen anbieten müssen. Wir waren im fremden Land komplett auf uns gestellt. Ohne unseren Fahrer, der ja hätte nicht mehr da sein müssen, wissen wir nicht wo wir gelandet wären. Er hat uns eine passende Unterkunft ca. 100km nördlich im Bendota Club ermöglicht. Wir bitten um Stellungnahme seitens Booking.com.

питание надо менять. Нашей семье на ужине за 4 на 16000 рупий было практически не чего есть. Также с перекусами, платными смузи, напитками и пиццами. Очень острое или невкусное, на гриле один повар и очередь. Стоять полчаса и ждать пока он лениво перевернет рыбу или т.п., совсем не наш вариант. В итоге, 60000 рупий только на ужин за 3 дня на Шри-Ланке, вообще не по божески

Территория и океан

При въезде в отель с нами многие из персонала подошли познакомиться, дали влажные полотенца для лица и рук и налили приветственные напитки (нам после 3 часовой поездки на такси от аэропорта до этого отеля это было очень кстати!), быстро все оформили, заселили. Очень удобно, что отель позволяет бронирование на booking.com без предварительной оплаты, т.е. приехали, заселились, вечером я оплатил проживание наличными. Номер был семейный (мы с 2 детьми), двухэтажный, не огромный, но и не маленький, вход и выход с двух сторон. Ремонт не свежий, но в целом все хорошо. Звуки соседей слышны, но нам попались не сильно шумные соседи, нам не мешали. Убираются каждый день, утром метут дорожки и газоны. Постельное белье чистое, полотенца тоже все белоснежные, насекомых не было. Много русских туристов, дети всегда находили с кем поиграть из других детей. Есть анимация. Территория отеля большая, ухоженная, выход из номера смотрит прямо на океан, т.е. буквально 20м. от твоего номера и ты в океане. Ночью и утром очень слышны волны. Виды потрясающие, особенно наверху ресторана. Расположение отеля очень удачное. Бассейн небольшой, ухоженный, возле него в океане видели маленьких акул и огромных черепах. Имеется 2 пляжа, в целом на обоих можно найти место где поплавать, даже с детьми. Завтраки - шведский стол, но блюда очень однообразные, часть блюд очень острые. Еда - это единственное, что на мой взгляд здесь не тянет на 5 звезд. Обеды брали несколько раз в отеле, очень дорого получалось, бургеры лучше не брать, сильно разочаруетесь. Солнце с 11 до 16 очень жестокое, сгораешь очень быстро, традиционно, в первый же день вся семья сгорела, потом пользовались белыми футболками с длинными рукавами, кремами и бейсболками. Природа очень разнообразная, невероятно красивые пальмы, цветы, видели на территории отеля варана, стаи ожереловых попугаев, повсеместно бегающих бурундуков, экзотических бабочек, геконов под крышей, в океане возле камней не мало ярких рыб, ежей, крабы и т.д.

По еде есть к чему стремиться, до 5 звезд явно не дотягивает по этому пункту. При выходе на пляж очень утомляют навязчивые местные, которые пытаются тебе впарить экскурсии или зазывают в свое кафе, в котором мы ни разу не видели никого из отдыхающих. Прямо поджидают туристов, когда они выйдут с территории отеля на пляж.
